Design process

  1. 01

    Brief

    Understand the person being honoured and the tone the family wanted to hold.

  2. 02

    Structure

    Split the cover into a quadrant grid so portrait and type share equal weight.

  3. 03

    Type

    Set wide-tracked capitals against a soft serif for a calm, dignified voice.

  4. 04

    Monogram

    Draw initials as a single flowing line so the mark works at any size.
